Chubby
Spud (a.k.a. Mike Schroeder)
Hometown: Louisville, KY
Instrument: German-made Stradivarius copy violin.
Chubby plays fiddle and mandolin and is well respected as a classical
mandolin player, having performed with the Louisville and Knoxville Symphony
Orchestras. He founded the Louisville Mandolin Orchestra and is
currently serving as president of the Classical Mandolin Society of America.
He is a June Appal Grammy nominated recording artist for his work with
the Buzzard Rock String Band and has served as a guest-artist for the
Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts Program.
Steve
Cooley
Hometown: Louisville, KY
Instrument: Deering Banjo
Steve is a banjo player, guitarist, vocalist and a three-time Grammy nominated
recording artist and producer/engineer. He has performed with artists
as diverse as Bill Monroe (the Father of Bluegrass), Doc Watson, David
Grisman, folk legends Jean Ritchie and Hazel Dickens, to the current Hoarde
Festival favorites Phish. He's been a long-time performer with the
Dillard's as well.

Raley
Hometown: Mount Washington, KY
Instrument: Renaissance RB-4 by Rick Turner
Larry is a bass player, guitarist and vocalist with over a quarter of
a century of experience singing on stages and entertaining folks from
church meetings to arenas to the Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for
the Arts.
Screamin'
John Hawkins
Hometown: Louisville, KY
Instrument: Laravee Acoustic Guitar
Screamin' John is the newest member of the group and a favorite of Louisville
rock and blues fans. He's a former A&M recording artist with
the band Edenstreet, and a recording session ace. He is all
that is guitar.
